This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Trailside Vineyard in the Rutherford AVA of Napa Valley and was harvested on 10-21-23@25.9 Brix. Mostly Cabernet with 4% Petit Verdot and a smidge of Malbec and Cabernet Franc. It was aged in 65% new Oak barrels for 21 months. It is a medium to full bodied wine, well structured with good balance, core of Rutherford dust with iron core and red fruit, with a long finish reminiscent of Trailside Vineyard’s 20+ year old vines.
